When your younger your told that there's no monster under your bed, but your mind plays tricks on you. In the dark anything can happen...

Once the lived two children who were, let's say 8 and 5. A boy who was 5 and a girl who was 8. They lived in a very nice house, they also had a happy family life with both their parents. Sounds nice, untill the lights go out. The boy and girl shared a room together and he also took longer to fall asleep. He heard the noise first, a short of scurrying noise or scratching. His night light was dimmed a little, he sat up and looked round the room. He saw nothing, just his sleeping sister on the other side of the room.
He lay his head back down on the pillow, his eyes grew heavy with sleep. As he shut his eyes he heard it again. This time he bolted out of bed and ran to his parents room, waking his sister as he flew to the door. The next night his father search the room, but found nothing that made the noise his son describe.
His son wouldn't go in there on his own, so when night fell and the time came for sleep he panicked. The girl went to her bed as her parents sorted out the boy. They turn up the night light a little thinking it would help.
Then as they shut the door and the girl fell into her land of nod, his eyes searched the room hoping not to hear that horrid noise. But just as he shut his eyes tightly the noise came again. He bolted up and stood on his bed, as he did his teddy bear fell on the floor. his sister woke up to the sound of movement, her eyes watched the bear roll under the bed. The boy peered down and then at his sister. He put his hands on the side of the bed and peered under to see if his bear was near the edge. He saw it right at the back near the wall, they both gulp as he looked up. Then he got on the floor and reached under the bed. But it was out of reach, so he went further under the bedso he was completely under. His sister waited and waited but he never came back out. She got worried and a little scared, curiousity got the better ofher fear. She got on to the floor near his bed and peered under. She saw the bear smiling back at her but not her brother, she thought maybe if she got the bear her brother would pop out of his hiding place.
She went to the edge of the bed to where it got darker, she picked up a foam bat from the side of the bed. Taking hld she used it to grab the bear, but instead of touching the bear she hit something else. Something more furry then the bear, more scary then meeting a real live bear. It looked at her as its long dark hand reached for her, in shock she crawled back out from under the bed and darted for her bed. The hand just missed her. The creature pulled it back under empty handed. She saw the bat just peeping out from under her brothers bed, maybe if she had that she can hit the creature again and kill it. Gently climbing of her bed, she reached for the foam bat, then the hand grab hers and pulled her under. The next morning the children were never found and no one knows what happen to them. Their parents moved on, slowly.
